You are invited to become a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery!

The Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) seeks to advance excellence and innovation in vascular health through education, advocacy, research and public awareness. SVS currently has a membership of more than 2,600 vascular specialists who have shown an active interest in the vascular disease field. Members enjoy many benefits, and SVS membership is widely recognized in the vascular community as a mark of professional achievement.

To apply, review the membership categories below and determine which is right for you. Select the appropriate link to begin the application proces. 

The deadline for all 2009 membership applications (except for surgical residents or fellows applying for Candidate Membership) is March 1, 2009.

There are seven membership categories:

Candidate 
 Physicians who are currently enrolled or accepted into an accredited vascular surgery residency training program
Active Physicians who have demonstrated an active interest and excellence in the field of vascular disease
International Physicians who reside outside North America who otherwise are qualified for Active Membership
Associate Non-surgeon physicians who have a demonstrated active interest in the field of vascular disease
Affiliate Non-physicians who have a demonstrated active interest in the field of vascular disease
Senior
 SVS members who have retired from the practice of vascular surgery
  Honorary Distinguished physicians who have achieved international prominence in the vascular field
